Recently I co-presented an ICSC webinar titled “Brick and Mortar Goes Solar”, which was an overview of how retail centers can use solar to be more environmentally friendly and reduce electricity costs, but also as a creative revenue generating platform. The other presenter was Robert Reichenberger, President of Solar Prime in Denver. Robert and I worked together about 5 years ago to deploy a solar program across 200 shopping centers nationwide. The lessons learned developing that program are still very relevant today, as evidenced by the strong turn out for that webinar.
